The Lenox Garden Club is currently accepting applications for funds to public or private not-for-profit organizations undertaking specific projects in and around Berkshire County. The project must pertain to gardens, civic beautification, environmental restoration, conservation or education.
In 2016 the Lenox Garden Club awarded $10,000 to the Stockbridge Library to help replant their gardens, $3451.35 to Mass Audubon for implementation of a native plant entrance garden at Pleasant Valley, $500 to Pittsfield Beautiful to continue their work beautifying downtown, $1050 to Williamstown Rural Lands Foundation to underwrite interpretative wetland information for their proposed wetland boardwalk at Sheep Hill, $8,000 to the Berkshire Botanical Garden for its renovation of the Center. The total of these grants $25,001.35.
Money to support these grants is raised from the Club's Garden and House Tour, "Hidden Treasures of the Berkshires.
