The Projects Review Committee is happy to report The Lenox Garden Club has awarded grants totaling $23,000 to five Berkshire County organizations.They are:
$10,000 to the Stockbridge Library Association for restoration of the gardens and grounds after major building renovations. We will be recognized on a donor plaque either in the library or along Rosie’s Walk.
$8000 to the Berkshire Botanical Garden for its renovation of Center House.
$3452 to Mass Audubon for the planting of a native plant entrance garden at Pleasant Valley Wildlife Sanctuary.
$1050 to the Williamstown Rural Lands Foundation to underwrite interpretative information for their proposed wetland boardwalk at Sheep Hill.
$500 to Pittsfield Beautiful for the purchase of plant material for the downtown Pittsfield planters and gardens. We are happy to step in where the Berkshire Garden Club left off.
